About
Camden’s JSNA Hub is a collection of evidence about health and wellbeing in the Borough. The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a collection of different types of product that collectively represents the basis for health decision making within Camden. No individual product is ‘a’ (or ‘the’) JSNA. The site is managed by Camden’s Public Health Intelligence team but the JSNA is a responsibility of Camden’s Health & Wellbeing Board.
Camden’s Public Health Intelligence team
The team aims to enable high quality decision making that maximises population wellbeing through the creation of evidence-based actionable insights derived from analysis, research, and evaluation.
Each of the three functions within the team contributes to this purpose:
Research uses qualitative methods, service mapping, and literature review to gather, evaluate, and inform
Analytics uses descriptive, explicative, predictive, and prescriptive quantitative analysis to inform and advise
Data enables the collection and processing of information, supports services to understand their business data, and facilitates automation
What’s on the site
The Hub contains a range of products. Only work produced in partnership with the Public Health Intelligence team are included on this site to ensure they adhere to consistent and accessible formats. Products fall into five categories; Profiles, Health Needs Assessments (HNA), JSNA Chapters, Briefings, Dashboards and tools. You can find out more about our products here.
